Terms of Service
Last updated October 5, 2026
These are the rules for using Bindalo. We have kept them as plain as we can. Please read section 3 closely: you review everything Bindalo reads before relying on it.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using Bindalo, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Bindalo for a brokerage, team or company, you confirm you can agree on its behalf. You must be at least 18 to use Bindalo.
2. What Bindalo does
Bindalo is software for organizing real estate transactions. It reads the contracts you upload, suggests deal details, deadlines and checklists, and helps you track them. We may improve, change or retire features over time, and we will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on.
3. You review everything Bindalo reads
This section matters most. Bindalo uses AI to read contracts, and AI can make mistakes. It can misread a date, miss a clause, count days the wrong way, or misunderstand an addendum.
- Treat everything Bindalo suggests as a draft. You are responsible for checking dates, deadlines, amounts, parties and terms against the signed documents.
- Bindalo is not a lawyer, broker or escrow officer, and nothing in Bindalo is legal, financial or real estate advice.
- Contracts, local rules and agreements between the parties control. If Bindalo and the contract disagree, the contract wins.
4. Your account
Keep your login private and tell us right away at phil@bindalo.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the accuracy of the information you add.
5. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Free includes a limited number of active deals, as shown on our pricing page.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- Founding price. If you subscribe at a founding price, you keep it for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel and later return, current prices apply.
- Cancel anytime from Settings. You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free. We do not give partial refunds for unused time unless the law requires it.
- Price changes. We will email you at least 30 days before any price change affects your subscription.
6. Your content
You own the contracts, files and information you put into Bindalo. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run Bindalo for you, including sending documents to our service providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm you have the right to upload what you add, including other people's information in your transactions, and that doing so does not break any law or agreement.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use Bindalo for anything illegal or fraudulent.
- Do not upload malware, or try to break into, overload or reverse engineer Bindalo.
- Do not access other people's accounts or data, or resell Bindalo without our written permission.
8. Availability and backups
We work to keep Bindalo running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. Keep your own copies of signed contracts and important documents. Bindalo is a tool for staying organized, not your file of record.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using Bindalo and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing phil@bindalo.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put Bindalo or other users at risk. When we can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to download your files.
10. Disclaimers
Bindalo is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and any warranty that information Bindalo produces is accurate or complete.
11. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Bindalo will not be liable for missed deadlines, lost deals, lost commissions, lost profits or data, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of Bindalo.
Our total liability for any claim relating to Bindalo is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you have not paid us.
12. Your responsibility to us
If someone brings a claim against us because of content you uploaded or because you broke these Terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, including legal fees.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you by email or in Bindalo before they take effect. Continuing to use Bindalo after that means you accept the updated Terms.
